10 Commandments for the Reformed Baby Boomer

  2. 2. 1. I will keep up with technology because it’s much easier than trying to catch up later.
  3. 3. 2. I will embrace change.
  4. 4. 3. I will reject fear of the new and different.
  5. 5. 4. I will not believe everything I read or hear especially from the media and most politicians.
  6. 6. 5. I will reject extremism from both sides: left-wing and right-wing.
  7. 7. 6. I will not leave voicemail messages for my children unless I absolutely have to.
  8. 8. 7. I will maintain regular exercise and healthy eating to stay as vibrant and active in my later years as possible.
  9. 9. 8. I will simplify my life and not keep or acquire stuff that my children will have to go through when I’m dead.
  10. 10. 9. I will organize all of our digital pictures and videos and leave a LEGACY of memories for my children.
  11. 11. 10. I will remember that my reaction to life’s events both big and small is a reflection of my inner well-being.
