Outlook for Week of November 11, 2019

  1. 1. Reversal Levels - Outlook for week of November 11, 2019  Number of S&P 500 stocks in bullish trends (blue line): 353 (71%) versus 353 last week.  Number of S&P 500 stocks in daily bullish mode (red line): 337 (67%) versus 356 last week.  Situation is bullish and the number of stocks in bullish trends is going up. The red line has fallen back below the blue line. This indicates a pause or pullback is starting. ©
  2. 2.  ELC: up | BMO: up | Blue snake: up | Repellor: up.  Indicators stay bullish. Market has climbed outside the Blue snake, which strengthens the bullish case. © S&P 500 Weekly chart
  3. 3.  FTSE100 gives a Buy signal, joins the other major markets which are in bullish trends already.  Bonds TLT are giving a Sell signal. Start of a new bearish trend.  Gold is weak bullish with downward MoM. Has again failed to hold the 1500 level. May go for a test of its RevL.  EURUSD is in a weak bearish trend and was rejected at its weekly RevL. The 1.10 level is an important hold.  Oil is weak bearish and starting to test its RevL.  Wheat is in a fresh bullish trend. Needs follow through to avoid a failed rally. © Major indices
  4. 4.  Buy signal for Hong Kong HSI.  Partial profits signal for Italy MIB. A 10% gain in 10 weeks.  Almost all markets are in bullish trends with upward MoM.  Just ride the move. There is no edge in trying to fight the trend until MoM starts turning down. World markets ©
  5. 5.  Buy signal for AXP, DIS and MMM.  Partial profits signal for AAPL. A 31% gain in 20 weeks.  22 stocks bullish, up from 19 last week. Above 20 = bullish. See article: Keeping an eye on the Dow stocks  In major market advances the number of bullish stocks typically goes above 25. That hasn’t happened yet.  If the bullish count falls back below the 15 level it would be a serious warning sign. . 30 Dow Jones Industrials stocks ©
  6. 6.  No major changes this week.  Currencies tend to make long trending moves, so we don’t get weekly Buy or Sell signals so often.  For daytraders or swing traders: if you do your trading in the direction of the weekly trend you are likely to do well in the long run. So, try to buy the pullbacks in currencies pairs that are in weekly bullish trends and sell the rips during weekly bearish trends. Forex & Crypto ©
