  3. 3. Period Current Synopsis Co-ordinate and influence Sun Microsystems HPC drive in Europe. Manage country managers, sales and pre-sales teams throughout region. Roles/Duties • Coordination of strategic development of resources within the Europe region, including approval of training plans, career development planning, conducting annual performance reviews, coaching/counselling HPC sales & pre-sales for their professional growth • Review of resource utilisation, planning for specialised coverage of all major sales activity areas (mainly direct), and review of the resource matching process • Motivation, development, and retention of all HPC professionals • Mentoring and Development of HPC Country Managers and Professionals • Participation in regular territory reviews with regional sales directors and managers resulting in a detailed understanding of the top deals in each region • Direction of the Sales, Pre-Sales and Technical Team Leads and other professionals within the region, for the development of intermediate and long-term coverage plans for the region • Account management activities; develop/plan account strategies, high-level presentations, problem resolution, relationship development, and coordination of corporate resource involvement with the top five prospects within the region • Additional responsibilities include development of relationships with other organisations within Sun Microsystems/Sun Oracle as well as maintaining current knowledge of both corporate and industry direction Performance • • Increased Sun Microsystems Europe HPC MSS from ~2.2% to 9% Managed a HPC pipeline of ~$500M with a conversion rate of ~4:1 • Over achieved given goal of $100M by $18M • Europe HPC region outperformed all other Sun Microsystems regions • Created a new business & partner model for end-to-end solutions with high- margin potential

Roles/Duties • Manage the strategic and tactical development of resources within the UK region, including training, career development planning, conducting quarterly performance reviews, and coaching/counselling • Review of resource utilisation, planning for specialised coverage of all major sales activity in HPC, Enterprise Architecture and IT Infrastructure, and review of the resource matching process • Manage ZBB (Zero Based Budget) of opportunities within HPC and Enterprise/Infrastructure Architecture • Motivation, development, and retention of all Intel Corporation Partner professionals within named accounts • Develop and manage UK quarterly and yearly pre-sales plans • Mentoring and Development of Intel pre-sales and juniors in HPC, Computer Architectures and Enterprise Architectures • Additional responsibilities include development of relationships with other divisions within Intel Corporation Performance • Cited as a major contributor for increasing Dell’s HPC MSS in Europe from 9.2% to 12% (IDC rating) • Cited by Dell as the major factor for top HPC wins for 2005 to 2007 (Dell won 90% of top SRIF opportunities 3 years running) • Filed three joint patents in 2005 • Turned poor HPC rating at the beginning of 2005 to its highest in 2006 • Rated the most technical and business in the EMEA Solution Specialist team

Business Glen has been noted for a number of business achievements, some highlighted below; Increased Sun Microsystems European HPC MSS (Market Segment Share) in FY09 from 2.1% to 4.8% Helped make Europe the best performing HPC Sales region for Sun Microsystems in FY09 taking 41% of 1HFY09 HPC reported revenue Created a new HPC business model with high profit margin potential; average of 40% At Intel, helped win 12 of the top 13 HPC opportunities in the UK At Intel, proposed and created new business models for pre-sales in HPC and Enterprise Architecture Technical Glen has been noted for a number of technical achievements, some highlighted below; • Help architect a HPC solution that won Top500 place (No20) using standard servers not specialised in any way, which displaced prominent Power based systems • At Intel never lost a pre-sales competitive face-off • At Intel was highly rated as knowledgeable and mentor in computer architecture • Architected one of the first MMSC (MMS for mobiles) configurations for Nokia • Architected one the first multi-protocol MMS brokers (software using C++) for Nokia • Own worldwide patents (PCT) in; computer architectures and computer system model • On average groups lead by Glen held highest number of patent filings
