  1. 1. MEET OUR TEACHERS JELLYFISH INFANT CLASSROOM JESSICA STOCKL is originally from Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She brings over eleven years of experience working with children to the Park District. Jessica enjoys seeing children hit new milestones and loves the look of pride on children’s faces when they figure out a new skill. Jessica has her Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Illinois-Chicago. When Jessica is not with our infants, she enjoys hiking. JACLYN CUNNINGHAM just moved back to Illinois after living in South Carolina. The best part about working with kids, for Jaclyn, is how loving they are and their excitement about life each day. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University and over three years of experience working with children. Her favorite song to sing with children is Skinnamarink. In her spare time, Jaclyn enjoys hiking, traveling and reading. DINA STEINDLER At the end of the day, Dina loves when kids give her a big hug. Her favorite books to read to students are Good Night, Moon and Oh,The Places You’ll Go. For the past four years, Dina has worked in Children’s Circle classrooms, sharing songs like Icky Icky Sticky Bubble Gum and Old MacDonald Had a Farm with our youngest students. Dina brings over seven years of experience working with children to the Park District, as well as child development certifications for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool students from Oakton College. When Dina is not at Children’s Circle, she enjoys going walking and spending time with her family. YARDENA GRUMET-MORRIS grew up with five brothers and sisters in Evanston and has over seven years of professional experience working with children. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Sports and Tourism Management from the University of Illinois, Yardena started at the Glencoe Park District as an intern before being promoted to assistant teacher. Yardena’s favorite book to share with children is Left Foot, Right Foot. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports and traveling.

MEET OUR TEACHERS FROGS TODDLERS CLASSROOM NATALIA MARINOVSKA believes music ignites all areas of child development and her favorite classroom activity is playing the keyboard and singing with the children. Natalia has over nineteen years of experience working with children and has been with the Park District for the last fourteen years. Natalia has a Master’s Degree in Science and currently lives in Glenview. The most rewarding part of her day is the unrestrained love the children give her each day. It is her goal to teach children that learning is fun and exciting! MARIA KLONOWSKI is originally from Poland, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and studied children’s education. Her favorite children’s book is The Legend of Wawel Dragon and her favorite song is If You’re Happy and You Know it. Maria brings nine years of experience working with children and has been with the Park District for the past four years When Ms. Maria is not at Children’s Circle, she enjoys traveling and skiing. CRISTINA PEPE Originally from Glenview, Cristina Pepe has eight years of experience working with children. Her favorite classroom activity is singing with the children, especially Twinkle, Twinkle. She says, “My favorite part of my day is when kids do something sweet or funny. They are all such characters, it makes my job fun!” Cristina is currently finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern University. When Ms. Cristina isn’t with the Park District, she enjoys styling hair and reading. with our youngest students.
  3. 3. MEET OUR TEACHERS STARFISH CLASSROOM MARSHA COHEN lives in Glenview with her husband, Allan. She has two daughters and two granddaughters and over eighteen years of experience teaching children. Marsha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University. The best part of her job is “seeing the children blossom throughout the school year.” Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar and her favorite children’s song is The Wheels on the Bus. When Marsha isn’t at Children’s Circle, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughters and traveling. TERRI ZIDRON hails from Worth, Illinois and has two adult children, Tom and Kelly. She studied forestry before beginning her teaching career at the Park District seventeen years ago. Terri wants each child to leave her classroom knowing how to be good citizens. Being kind to each other, learning to listen when adults are talking, and practicing good manners is essential in Terri’s classroom. Her favorite children’s book is But Not the Hippopotamus by Sandra Boynton. In her spare time, Terri loves spending time with her puppy at the dog park. LUCAS HARRIS is a Glencoe native and says it is a fantastic place to grow up. Lucas started his Park District as a camp counselor and recently joined Children’s Circle as a teaching assistant.The best part of his job is seeing kids smile.The most rewarding part of Lucas’s day is seeing the kids not only playing and interacting, but also how much fun they are having. Lucas graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Hofstra University and has two years’ experience working with kids. When he isn’t with Children’s Circle, you may see Lucas working at Writer’s Theatre. He enjoys spending his free time reading and writing.
  4. 4. MEET OUR TEACHERS BELUGAS CLASSROOM ROSE PEPE With over nineteen years of experience, Rose Pepe has been a part of the Children’s Circle family for the last ten years. Originally from Chicago, Rose has four adult children and four grandchildren. At the end of the day, Rose feels a sense of accomplishment knowing that her students were engaged, had fun, and learned a lot. Rose is currently finishing a Child Development Associate Credential with emphasis in Preschool. She enjoys incorporating science into her lessons, because she likes how enthusiastic and curious kids become when they discover how and why things happen the way they do. Rose wants parents to know that Children’s Circle students are well cared for by an amazing staff that is nurturing, compassionate, and dedicated. KEVIN DORE hopes kids remember the wonderful teachers that help their minds each day. His favorite children’s book is The Napping House and he enjoys singing Icky Sticky Bubblegum with his students. Kevin earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Lake County and brings ten years of experience to the classroom. In his free time, Kevin enjoys listening to music, baking and being with his friends.
  5. 5. MEET OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM AMANDA MICHAEL, PROGRAM SUPERVISOR Amanda joined the Glencoe Park District team in February after progressive management positions at Kinder Care. Originally from Wauconda, Amanda still lives there with her husband and son (with one on the way!). She studied Hospitality Management and Early Childhood at Iowa State University. She loves Glencoe’s close-knit, small-town feel and has enjoyed getting to know the Children’s Circle families. The most rewarding part of Amanda’s job is seeing the children excited to walk in the Children’s Circle door each morning. NAOMI GARVETT, EARLY CHILDHOOD MANAGER Naomi Garvett, Early Childhood Manager, received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from National Louis University. For over twenty years, Naomi has managed early childhood programs and classrooms in the Chicagoland area. As a mother of two young children, Naomi understands the importance of selecting the right preschool program for your child.
