Europe and UNESCO/CEPES. The purpose of the supplement is lo provide sufficient independent data lo
improve the international 'transparency' and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications
(diplomas, degrees, certificates, etc). il is designed lo provide a descriplion of the nature, level, context,
content and the status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual on the
original qualification lo which this supplemenl is appended. It should be free from any value judgements,
equivalence statements or suggeslions about recognition. information in all eight sections should be
provided. An explanation should be included if there is no information available.
