• Housing mix: Between 30% and 50% of the apartments have 4 or
more rooms
The combination between these two mandatory criteria led to a
very economical use of living space at Erlenmatt East

• Comfort ventilation tubes can be switched

Conclusion
The granter of the building rights has power, freedom of creation,
and control capabilities. He can:
• Set the framework conditions for a sustainable lifestyle
• Lay down requirements on the buildings and thus indicate a
direction towards sustainability
• Due to the compilation of the holders of the building rights, the
granter of the building rights can influence the neighbourhood
significantly
These possibilities can be used by the private granter of building
rights and authorities
