Jack and the Beanstalk.

  2. 2. Once upon a time …….Lived a boy calledJack. Jack lived withhis mother in afarmhouse in thecountryside.
  3. 3. Jack and his Mother owned a cow called Daisy.Jacks mother decided they needed to sell Daisyas they had no money to buy food.
  4. 4. Sadly the next day Jack took Daisyto market to sell her.
  5. 5. Jack sold Daisy to a kind old man whoonly had beans to pay him with.
  6. 6. Jack’s mother was furious. “Beans willnot buy us food”. Jack’s mother saidangrily. Jack’s mother threw the beansout of the window.
  7. 7. The next morningJack and his mother awoke to the most amazing sight.
  8. 8. An enormous beanstalk had grown over night in Jack’s back garden.The beanstalk was so big Jack could not see the top of it.
  9. 9. Jack decided to climb the beanstalkimmediately. “Be careful”. Jack’s mothercalled after him.
  10. 10. At the top of the beanstalk was a huge castle.
  11. 11. Jack sneaked into the castlethrough the huge front door.
  12. 12. Jack could see a money bag, but by the money bag was a giant who was fast asleep.
  13. 13. Jack tip toed up to themoney bag, grabbed it and ran.
  14. 14. “Fee Fi FO FumI smell the blood of an Englishman,Be he alive or be he dead,I’ll grind his bones to make my bread.”Bellowed the giant.
  15. 15. Jack climbed back downthe beanstalk as quickly as he could so that the giant would not catch him.
  16. 16. “That was your fathersmoney bag”. Jacks Mother said “Look it is full of golden coins”.
  17. 17. “I am going back up the beanstalk to see if there isanything else of my fathersup there”. Exclaimed Jack. “Be careful”. his Mother called.
  18. 18. At the top of the beanstalk Jack could here a beautiful noise. ll4mgE&feature=email Jack followed the noise which led him back to thecastle.Jack could see it was his fathers harp. Jack wanted totake the harp back home to his mother.
  19. 19. Jack sneaked into the castle again and took the harp.
  20. 20. “Fee Fi FO FumI smell the blood of an Englishman,Be he alive or be he dead,I’ll grind his bones to make my bread.”Bellowed the giant.
  21. 21. While Jack was in the castle he noticed a henlaying golden eggs. I will get that next time Jack thought to himself andback down the beanstalk he scrambled before the giant caught him.
  22. 22. Jack’s mother looked astonishedwhen Jack got to the bottom of the beanstalk. “That is your fathers harp”. Said Jack’s mother.
  23. 23. “There’s just one more thing to get”. Said Jack.Off Jack went back up the beanstalk again. “Be careful”. Jack’sworried mother called up the beanstalk to him. “Don’t worry mother I will”. Jack called back.
  24. 24. Jack sneaked back up tothe castle. Jack could here a strange noise. This madeJack feel a little frightened. M
  25. 25. Jack looked through thewindow of the castle. Jack could see the giant fast asleep. It was the giantssnoring that sounded like thunder.
  26. 26. Jack sneaked into the castle and into the room where the giant was asleep. Thehen laying the golden eggswas sat in front of the giant on the table.
  27. 27. Jack tip toed up to the table and grabbed the hen.
  28. 28. “Fee Fi FO FumI smell the blood of an Englishman,Be he alive or be he dead,I’ll grind his bones to make my bread.”Bellowed the giant.
  29. 29. Jack grabbed the hen and ran as fast as he could to the top of the beanstalk. The giant came running after him.
  30. 30. Jack started to climb down the beanstalk. “Quick mother.” Jackshouted. “Get fathers axe”. Mother grabbed fathers axe from the shed.
  31. 31. Jack got to the bottom ofthe beanstalk and handed his mother the hen. Jacktook the axe and choppeddown the beanstalk beforethe giant could make it to the bottom.
  32. 32. Jack and his mother enjoyed their new richeswith the bag of money, thebeautiful harp and the hen laying the golden eggs.Jack and his Mother were never hungry again.
  33. 33. Jack and his mother lived happily ever after.
