Mushroom Farm

 1. 1. Mushroom Farm Grow your own fungi
 2. 2. Buy a kit

The first week, you have to keep it warm – 70 degrees. If it is freezing outside, you may have to put it in bed with you. That works.

 3. 3. If you kept it warm enough, it will be moldy. After the first week, it doesn’t have to be as warm. 55-65 degrees is fine. Tuck it in a dark corner and mist every other day.

You should soon see little buttons poking up.

 4. 4. They grow very fast – like mushrooms. 
 5. 5.

The next day, even bigger!

You can pick them while they’re small and have baby portobello or cremini mushrooms.

I prefer to wait.

 6. 6. If you forget to check it one day, the next day you find this.
 7. 7. They will grow quite large. Especially considering how small they were a couple days ago.
 8. 8. Finally, the fun part – cook and eat! The only problem is deciding which of the many tasty ways to cook them!
