Brief history of Lancelot's Mama and Papa <ul><li>Lancelot was the only child of King Ban and his queen Elaine </li></ul><ul><li>When Lancelot was young his father was driven from the kingdom by a revolt of his own people </li></ul><ul><li>The king and queen flee, but the king dies of a broken heart on the way </li></ul>
  3. 3. Momma? Is that you? <ul><li>The queen knew her time was short so handed the baby over to the Lady of the Lake, who brought the boy up in her mysterious kingdom. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Lancelot, the arrogant hero <ul><li>Lancelot was known as a brave hero who could sometimes be rather arrogant </li></ul><ul><li>His brave deeds were known far and wide </li></ul>
  5. 5. King Arthur looses his girlfriend <ul><li>King Arthur’s downfall was because of Lancelot. He had an affair with King Arthur’s girlfriend Guinevere, whom Arhur later married. </li></ul>
  6. 6. The roundish table of equality <ul><li>The round table was round because King Arthur had this crazy idea that everybody should be equal and having a circle table would make sure no one was at the head. Weird, we know. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Reasons why Lancelot was somewhat of a good guy <ul><li>All the ladies thought he was hot </li></ul><ul><li>He was, yeah…okay, he was kind. Sort of. </li></ul><ul><li>He had wavy hair. Okay, maybe this isn’t exactly a fact, but we imagined it. </li></ul>

They were polite <ul><li>To never lay down arms </li></ul><ul><li>To seek after wonders </li></ul><ul><li>When called upon, to defend the rights of the weak with all ones strength </li></ul><ul><li>To injure no one </li></ul><ul><li>Not to attack one another </li></ul>
  9. 9. Continuation of the chivalry rules <ul><li>To fight for the safety of ones country </li></ul><ul><li>To give one’s life for one’s country </li></ul><ul><li>To seek nothing before honor </li></ul><ul><li>Never to break faith for any reason </li></ul>

(Continuation) <ul><li>To practice religion most diligently </li></ul><ul><li>To grant hospitality to anyone, each according to his ability </li></ul><ul><li>Whether in honor or disgrace, to make a report with the greatest fidelity to truth to those who keep the annals </li></ul>
