President Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to strengthen work requirements for low-income Americans. Last year, the federal government spent above $700B on low-income assistance.
 
Kroger
Kroger plans to hire 11,000 people to help transform the company as it faces mounting pressure from rivals. America’s largest supermarket chain is also investing $500M in associate wages, training and development over the next three years.
