US authorities are barring electronics larger than a mobile phone in carry-on luggage on all flights from certain Middle East and North African countries. The rule will affect nine airlines at ten airports.

Its annual list anointed a record 233 new billionaires, bringing the global total to a record 2,043. Their total net worth rose by 18% to $7.67 trillion — also a record.
