Uber
Uber will soon offer new services like buying public transport tickets and hiring rental cars or bikes. Uber announced earlier this week it had acquired New York bike-sharing startup Jump for around $200M.
Walmart
Walmart is nearing a deal to buy 51% of Indian e-commerce site Flipkart, reports Reuters. The deal would be worth between $10B to $12B and likely to be closed in June.
Bank of America
Bank of America will stop financing firms that make military-style weapons such as the AR-15 rifle. The announcement follows similar moves by other banks, as well as gun sale policy changes by Walmart, Kroger and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
