DACA
The government must accept new applicants for DACA, says a D.C. federal judge. About 700,000 people have signed up for the Obama-era program, which protects undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children from deportation.
Yahoo
The company formerly known as Yahoo has been fined $35M for not disclosing its 2014 cybersecurity breach soon enough. The SEC slapped Altaba (owner of Yahoo’s remnants) with the penalty for failing to notify investors that Russian hackers had obtained personal data from 500M customer accounts.
Travel Ban
The Supreme Court will hear arguments today about President Trump’s travel ban. Hawaii says the ban that restricts travelers from several Muslim-majority countries entering the U.S. discriminates and oversteps presidential power for immigration.
