WPP chief Sir Martin Sorrell resigned following a misconduct probe into use of company funds. Sorrell led the ad firm for 33 years; some of its biggest clients include Ford, Procter & Gamble and Unilever.  
 
Starbucks
Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson apologized to two black men arrested at a Philadelphia store last week. The men were denied the restrooms because they hadn’t made a purchase; an employee called the police after they refused to leave.
 
Russia Sanctions
The White House will soon announce new sanctions against Russia, says U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. This follows weekend airstrikes in Syria by the U.S., U.K. and France, in response to an alleged chemical attack by the Syrian government in Douma.
