This session will cover an update from the IMS Privacy Task Force, walking attendees through the experience of installing an LTI learning tool with an IMS defined Privacy Label.

All Rights Reserved Privacy Task Force Charter • Goal: – Consistent approach for identifying the collection and use of learning data through IMS-related initiatives and products. • First Step: – “Data Collection Label” for LTI tool providers that would disclose data being collected through the tool and subsequent uses of this data. – This label would be integrated with the LTI tool registration, and is being considered as a required element for LTI v2 tool provider registration. – It would not replace or circumvent privacy policies.
