WHAT SHOULDBE THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS? Promote innovation, by influencing the adoption of policies, legislation and regulation which facilitates the development of innovative educational practices. Support the development of innovation, by facilitating real time access to relevant information and data and allowing sharing of resources and costs. Recognize and validate innovation by speeding up external validation and assuring the establishment of high quality international standards. Assure the sustainability of the innovation process, allowing large scale sharing of innovative experiences and by that facilitating its application in multiple contexts. Increment the duration of innovation, by preserving the legacy of shared knowledge and experience accumulated by the academic and professional community.
