2. 1 cup multi-grain ½ cup powdered ½ cup melted 2 tablespoons A pinch of
wheat flour white sugar heart-healthy cocoa powder baking soda
margarine
1 teaspoon milk
4. Sieve all the dry ingredients except sugar. This gives the mixture
a light and airy structure
5. Mix the sieved dry ingredients together with a spoon for
uniformity
6. Buy a block ( 100 gms.) of heart-healthy margarine and melt it.
Ensure that the container does not directly touch the flame
while melting as that will alter the flavor of the margarine
7. Make a mixture of sugar and margarine and mix till sugar melts
completely.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients mixture and pour the
sugar margarine mixture.
8. You will obtain a crumbly mixture which needs to be kneaded
into a dough
9. Make a dough. If the crumbly mixture is too dry for making a
dough, add a teaspoon of margarine. Let the dough rest for 5-6
hrs. You could refrigerate it for 2-3 hrs. also if you want.
10. When the dough is set, flatten it out with the help of a chapati
rolling pin
