  3. 3. Scriptures point to the right questions
  4. 4. “ But I accepted Christ when I was young.”
  5. 5. Lead your students to pray for their personal salvation
  6. 6. “And I hope You do.”
  7. 7. “But I’ve already been saved.”
  8. 8. Men shall be lovers of self more than lovers of God “ People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them . ” … 2Tim 3:1-5
  9. 9. Has ‘being saved’ been cheapened in our day?
  10. 10. Jesus makes it very simple: “ And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” … John 17:3
  11. 11. Teach the truth about salvation
  12. 12. Not every doctrine is essential
  13. 13. As we died with Christ, we believe also that we live with Him
  14. 14. When you ask for a decision, be in the moment
  15. 15. Don’t wait for the last visit to ask for a decision
  16. 16. There is joy in God’s presence over one sinner that repents
  17. 17. Be thoughtful about timing your discussion about baptism
  18. 18. What if your student says no?
  19. 19. Don’t judge emotions
  20. 20. Invite your pastor to the baptism study
  21. 21. Set a definite date!
  22. 22. Congratulations! You just won someone to the Kingdom of God
