  1. 1. Email : Kailash Pilgrimage Yatra and Muktinath Yatra Description The Holy Mt. Kailash (6714m/22156 ft) and Mansarovar Kshetra (area) - the holy site for Hindu, Bon, Buddhistand Jain is one of the most popular pilgrimages Yatra from Nepal. According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva Resides on top of Mount Kailash, where he sits in a state of meditation along with his wife Parvati, and the Daughter of Himalaya. It is also home of Buddha Damchok who represents supreme bliss of Buddhism and the place is all spiritual power in Bon religion. The first Jain attainted in liberation at Mt. Kailash and it is known as Sumeru Parvat in Jainism. The Kailash Parvat is believed to be the ultimate destination of souls and the spiritual center of the world. Like Mount Kailash, Lake Mansarovar is the abode of purity. It is a place of pilgrimage, attracting Hindus from all over the world. Taking a bath in Mansarovar and drinking its water is believed to cleanse all sins committed over a hundred lifetimes.

Similarly, the holy temple of Muktinath is known as the sacred pilgrimage of Hindus and Buddhists and wonder in amazement at the presence of 108 small watertaps and mysterious natural gas fire with great religious significance. Muktinath Temple is the temple of the Lord Vishnu. For the Hindus, the region is a "Muktikhsetra" or the region of liberation or salvation. There are water spouts channeled for the stream running above the temple. There is also a Buddhist Monastery nearby. Also we enjoy the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri peak from Muktinath. Muktinath itself demonstrates the religious harmony in Nepal. Detailed Itenary Day 01:Arrive inKathmandu (1300 m) Onto your arrivalour company representatives will greet you at the Tribhuwan InternationalAirportand escortyou to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight. You will have a rest at the hotel. Overnightat Hotel Day 02:Half-day sightseeing tour inKathmandu-The city of temple After breakfast, you will do a half day long sightseeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple, Mata Gujhesworitemple & Budhanilkantha temple. After lunch we will have a time for final preparation for Kailash pilgrimage Yatra i.e. checking the equipment which you will be using during the Yatra. If you need to buy a few things or rent something, our staffs will assistyou. In the evening, Chinese visa and Tibet permit will be handed over to you a brief about the trip. Overnightat Hotel Day 03:Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara & Pokhara Sightseeing After morning breakfast, wewill catch the flight for Pokhara-a beautifulvalley with natural beauties. After taking lunch, we will make a full day sightseeing of Pokhara. Wealso make a shortvisit to the Gupteswar Mahadev Cave(also called Shiva Gufa) located in the southern end of the city, Chorepatan. Some of the other places that we visit today include the Seti River Gorge; the Seti River that flows through the city makes deep canyons and goes completely underground at

Devi's Fall - locally known as Patale Chhango or the Hell's Fall, an eerie waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Camp and the mountain museumetc. Overnightat Pokhara Day 04:Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and Puja at Muktinath(12,170ft) Early morning, wewill catch the flight for Jomsom(2,715m/8,910ft). After taking a shortrest for breakfastat Jomsomwe walk nearly 10 minutes and cross the Kaligandaki River where we will get our vehicle for the Muktinath temple. We drive along with Kaligandaki riversideand crossing Kagbenivillage- a place for ritual worshiping. After one and half hour, we will arriveat Muktinath temple. We will do Puja (worshiping) with holy water bath there. After lunch, we explore Muktinath and back to Jomson. Overnightat guest housein Jomsom Day 05:Fly back to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing This day you’ll fly back to Pokhara fromJomsomand havea sightseeing at some beautiful places in Pokhara. Day 06:Drive back to Kathmandu via Manakamana temple After having breakfastin the morning you’lldrive back to Kathmandu and in the way you’ll havea darshan of Manakamana temple via Cable car. Return to Kathmandu. Overnightat Hotel. Day 07:Fly toNepalgunj This day you’ll fly to Nepalgunj in the appropriatetime as the weather allows us to. Overnightat Nepalgunj. Day 08:Fly from Nepalgunj toSimikot (2910 m) Early morning after tea, you will driveto Nepalgunj airport to catch the flight to Simikot. Simikot(2910m) is the district Headquarter of Humla, a mountain district of Nepal. Itis also a gate way to Kailash tour by Helicopter. You will spend the rest of the day for a rest and acclimatize; and if you will have a little more, you will do a shorttrek around Simikot.   4. 4. Day 09:Simikot- Hilsa- Taklakot After breakfast, wewill walk to Simikot airportand take helicopter to Hilsa. It takes 25 minutes to reach at Hilsa. You will see the scenic view of green hills and snow capped mountain along with deep river gorgeof River Karnali fromthe helicopter. After 30 minutes' walk from Hilsa, we will reach at the immigration office and we will get the pass to through into the Tibet. Our vehicle will be waiting us in the Tibet side. Nearly after 45 minutes drive, we arriveat Taklakot/Purang (4025 m). Overnightatguesthouse in Taklakot Day 10:Drive from Taklakot toLake Mansarovar (4550 m) After morning breakfast, wedrive to the holy and beautiful lake MANASAROVAR (4550m). Itis 88 kmfar fromTaklakot to Manasarovar which will take 1.5 hours. RAKAS is another on the way to Manasarovar; westop there for few minute to catch an amazing beauty of the lake. Then we continue to drive to Manasarovar. When we arriveat Manasarovar, wewill take a rest with lunch at guesthouse; and we will be ready for Manasarovar kora with vehicle. Itis the most auspicious day for us as wewill see the firstglimpse of holy Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. Wewill take holy bath on the bank of Mansarovar and have beautiful scenes around Manasarovar. OvernightatGuesthouse in Manasarovar Day 11:Drive to Tarchen(4600 m) (40 km) Holy Mansarovar - the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss may take in the real spiritual world. After the morning Puja (praying) with bathing, we will move towards the Holy Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicleafter lunch and continue drive towards Tarchen (Darchen). Wecatch many beautiful views of Nandi Hill, Asthapath and Mt. Kailsah very closely. We also view the Rakshas Lake(poison lake) on the way. Tarchen is considered as a base camp for Holy Kailash Parikrama. During the auspicious pilgrimagetime, this place will be flooded with pilgrims with hundreds of tents all around. Today, in the evening, weprepare for the Kailash inner kora with required materials and equipments. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.   5. 5. After breakfast, wehead towards Yamadwar (Tarboche) which is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarbocheis also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. Itis one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel that Great God Shiva is everywherewith tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parwaton its' side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parbatwill be kept on appearing. Overnightat Guest houseDay 08: Trek to Zutulphuk (4820 m) 4760 m) (18 km/ hrs) - passing through East face Kuberknuda pass (5,700m) Day 13:Trek to Zutulphuk (4820 m) 4760 m) (18 km / hrs) - passing throughEast face Kuberknudapass (5,700 m) Today is the mostchallenging day in our Yatra. After breakfast, wetrek to East face Kuberknuda pass (5,700m) and then descending gradually to Zuthulpuk (4760m). Yamasthalshould becrossed to reach the Shiva-sthalwhile your steps go towadrs the Kuberkunda pass with climbing ropes and other equipments. Once we reach on the top we see many spectacular views of the east face of Mt. kailash and the origin of the Uma River which is not possiblefromother spot. Fromthe top, we also can catch the close view of Nanthi Hill, Asthapath and more. Then we descend towards Zuthulpuk passing moving rocks way. By late afternoon wewill arrivein Zuthulpuk- the cave of Miracles, the great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have preformed miracles here. Overnightat Gusthouse, including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 14:Zutulphuk to Hilsa After early breakfast, wewill walk 3 hours to catch our vehicle to the Nepal boarder. Our staff will prepare lunch in Darchen (on the way to Hilsa). After lunch we will continue driveto Nepal boarder. We will make immigration procedureto exit Tibet and do shortwalk to Hilsa in Nepal side. Overnightat guesthouse in Hilsa Day 15:Hilsato Simikot & fly to Nepalgunj Early in the morning, we will catch the firstflight to Simikot. Then you’ll fly to Nepalgunj. Overnightat hotel.
  6. 6. Day 16:Fly from Nepalgunj toKathmandu After having breakfastfly to Kathmandu and restat hotel. In the evening we’ll hand you certificates and have a meeting on your experience about the tour with us. Day 17:Final Departure Nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport.
