The name of the project says it all. We wanted to create a platform for the benefit of football enthusiasts everywhere, so we came up with one.

  12. 15. <ul><li>In 2007 Russian Football Union became member of the UEFA Charter created with the aim of supporting the grassroots activities of its member associations – these include nurturing women's and girls' football, and developing social programmes such as disability football. </li></ul>
  13. 16. Figures <ul><li>Currently, there are over 2,500 youth football academies and football sections nationwide, with some 450,000 kids from 8 to 17 years of age enrolled. In urban and rural areas throughout Russia, there are about 12,000 football pitches and 1,732 stadia with a capacity of less than 500 spectators.
