Finding lost superannuation - a step-by-step guide

Having multiple superannuation funds is an administrative headache and it's probably costing you money (in the form of unnecessary fees). Find out how to consolidate your superannuation into one account online using myGov,now that Super Seeker has been decommissioned. If you're not sure whether you have multiple super accounts, follow the first half of the steps to find out if you have extra accounts. Even I had an extra superannuation account and I'm in financial education, I should be on top of this stuff! Though it's worked out well, as now I have actual screenshots of the process in action to share.
