To explore how the absence of these can
affect the participation of students and
the process of inquiry.
It was concluded that literature circles were an
effective strategy for those that had Spanish as their
mother tongue or first language. Thus, providing space
where students participate freely in the analysis and
interpretation of a text. Overall, a collaboration
between peers was one of the main contributors of
motivating using English in the classroom.
