11. LET’S INVENT A NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR EFFICIENT
WASTEWATERS TREATMENT SYSTEM DIRECTLY ON
PLACE!
It must be efficient like centralized
wastewater treatment in pollutants
removal
It must be small, easy to install, easy to
upgrade, easy to maintain
It must be cleantech, requiring low
energy
It must be easy to enter the market

World Population is exponentially increasing trespassing the “carrying capacity of our planet”…lots of issues has this common cause but one fundamental issues is the target of our business: how we can get clean water for all these people???
In developed contries one person produces about 150-200 liters wastewater per day
That’s how we coped with that till today..building huge network of sewerage systems and large centralized wastewater treatment plants…huge maintanance costs…water loss….what about benefit/cost ratio?? Is it sustanable for the future (10B peoples)?
Not because is not sustainable today…not only in developing country but also in Europe and USA….That’s was the major discussion topic of the world meeting and expo World Water Week, Stockholm, September 2014 ..where we were exposing our product/services.
Look..what’s happened in your State this year…..
Just one small example of bad benefit/cost evaluation in wastewater treatment service in Italy
Ok..to solve the problem let’s build a centralized wastewater treatment plant…
By building a > 10k long pipeline pumping sewage againt the slope on the back of the hill! Can you image the impact in terms development actions and energy???
> 90% reduction of all biodegradable pollutants in only three week functioning..a curiosity..the process rely on recycled bottle plastics caps for its functioning we use waste to clean wastewaters
Main applications of the RCBR technology concern all biodegradable effluents: from civil/urban (residential areas, hotels, B&B, agritourisms, campings) to all alimentary industry (our first plant was sold to a Brewery)
Istallation takes max 1 day work and can be done by generic plumber and electrician. RCBR is a modular system, therefore it can be upgraded following the increase in wastewater production with an easy plug and play system
And its very small! .this in the picture can treat wastewater produced up to 300 inhabitants
Dimensions of a complete double modular systems treating 5.5mc wastewater effluent from a Brewery in Italy
A complete system for 300 p.e. consumes less than 2 kW/h. (90% less then conventional systems….but we are increasing our efficiency looking at the process experimentally achieving consuptiion less 1kW/h for 300 p.e.
The global water market was 458B$ in 2012. now is 585$ and it is espected to grow to 672B$ next year
Our product represents an innovation in the market segment of “Other Biological WW” one of the highest in value and market share!
Not many innovative products for small wastewater treatment on place
