The B-Plan
The BRANDEDFOOD STALL
A Food Stall!? Yup it is and
that too a branded one.
Why? What ? How ?
• Why ? – Maximized Profit ,Minimized Quality
India with large multitude of people has also a large diversity in
food habits but one thing that’s common is quest and carving for
quality and taste, which is much satisfied by the street vendors.
But the major concern here is in order to maximize profit, quality
is minimized tough great taste.
What ?
• Stall with a name , a name of reputation and the
name that tastes best.
• Creating a unique food stall with the brand name ,
and providing proper hygiene along with best taste
and also providing a large variety of food options.
• By seeking to create a goodwill and trust of quality
and taste, the brand would become the name that
would spell best tastes one can have.
How?
CHEAP – HEALTHY – TASTY
• As it would be whole across the city the foot fall of
trespassers would be high and with proper branding and
stall designing it would be easy to bring in consumers .
• With the increase in production the cost would gradually
decrease ,thus increasing the profitability .
• For quality a basic hygiene guidelines can be followed
initially and latter it would come into a daily work
process. Also the ingredients used be displayed to
consumer to build trust.
• To maintain taste, standardization would be practised.
Marketing Strategy
• Serve the best, Leave the rest!
• A creative stall i.e. adding colorful lights,
slow songs , proper chef dress to vender ,
product uniqueness, adding meme wall ,
photo booth etc.
• Initially trying to grab the trespassers
attention and then trying to establish small
food streets if and where possible.

Financial Plan
• Capital requirement to give a face to this idea is not
such to seek loan or investors, personal savings or
small amount informal loans would be enough for
startup .
• As plan unfolds the profit would too , so funds
required for near expansions can be drawings from
business itself.
• Bank Loans can be considered for expansion at large
level.
STEP 2 – PLAN 1
Through the wormhole!
• The plan has its roots vested in street food but tries
to seek the a mammoth market.
• The second part goes with the successful execution
of the first one.
• This includes – having a established food streets in
and around and also having travelling vendors
mechanism around the city.
• An app can be launched that could link the vendors
and to consumers app can provide the current
locations of the vendors.
Continued ..
• An App could also provide daily offers, interesting
coupons and latter could be used give takeaway
orders.
• Other than app the Brand could step into catering
business whilst having major concerns to street food
only.
• Bigger the Better – Franchise can be distributed to
start with near by cities and thus expanding the
business.
Practicality of Idea
• If not EVERYTHING you will get SOMETHING but never
NOTHING.
• As it’s a step by step process there is no risk involved if
plan doesn’t work out and also corrections could be made
instantly and at root level.
• In a survey report on street food its estimated that India
cities have about 1.5 to 5 lakhs street vendors that serve
about 5-7 million people of all economic stratum.
• The capital invested is very little thus idea can seek
attention and is something to give a try!
Continued ..
• With a large variety of food options available and
with stall startups , there is always a option to change
food or to add one and so it can never be a case that
none of the food at stall works out.
• There can be a case that it may not turn that well,
but even if the stall gets advantage to seek one time
customers , it would easily reach break-even .
We are done, Are you ?
