  7. 7. When… <ul><li>I was offered the internship after being nominated as ‘Class Leader’ because I was vocal, organized, and always early. </li></ul><ul><li>Started May 2009 </li></ul><ul><li>Ended August 2009 because I had to finish my Bachelor’s degree at Purdue University. </li></ul>

Why… <ul><li>Learned how to source buttons and trims </li></ul><ul><li>Saw how to do fit checks </li></ul><ul><li>Helped entertain buyers </li></ul><ul><li>Went to fabric shows </li></ul><ul><li>Talked to industry representatives </li></ul><ul><li>Planned fashion design lessons </li></ul><ul><li>Completed garments from start to finish </li></ul><ul><li>And I never had to get coffee!!!! </li></ul>
  10. 10. <ul><li>I am indebted to Mr. Simonton for all of his help, positive influences, and moral support. Without him I would have been lost. After working with such a great man it is hard to fathom working for anyone else. He saw to it that I was ready to spread my wings. Here I am, ready to fly! </li></ul>
