Keep Anderson County Beautiful (KACB) is an affiliate of Keep Tennessee and Keep America Beautiful.   3. 3. KEEP ANDERSON COUNTY BEAUTIFUL SPRING 2012 KACB ActivitiesBe a VolunteerKeep Anderson County Beautiful is alwayslooking for volunteers. Volunteers are needed forlitter pick-ups, manning booths & recyclingstations at festivals and fairs, fundraising, andserving on Board of Directors or organizationcommittees. Goodwill Sack Pack Day KACB is participating with local schools and organizations in the 4th annual Anderson County Sack Pack Material Drive the first week of April 2012. The event is part of the Great American Clean-up as students are encouraged to recycle used toys, books, household goods and clothes. EducationKACB goes into schools and gives freepresentations regardinglitter prevention,community beautification projects, recyclingand waste reduction and tips on how to begreen. Community Beautification With available resources, KACB can assist in planning and installing community beautification projects. If there is an area in Anderson County that needs clean up, then KACB will provide support. 3

Being a member of KACB is important in order to help further the program’s effectiveness and heighten public awareness in the community.
