  7. 7. the ’ A good idea is only the beginning of a successful project, and we realise that the product needs more to give it credibility in the ears of the children and those who choose their entertainment. To this end, we have the support of the cornerstone of daytime and children ’s entertainment PHILLIP SCHOFIELD, who has offered his support as a narrator/ character. We believe this factor alone gives a sense of comfort for the programme. Naturally, a further consideration has to be the brand extension and merchandising possibilities which are endless: RECYCLED RANGE — with weather dome droplet boxes nationwide to rehome products/ toys etc. world wide. Bath time, play time, bed time, dinner time, baby range Book range — standard, hard back, soft, bath, bed, talking, multi sensory — which links to TV series. Umbrellas, wellingtons, hats, etc. Games (both fun and educational) Toy characters Dressing up Mu/ ti media weather linked apps, games and toys And many more Other possibilities exist in terms of crossover programming, ~, The Weather Dome Musical — an interactive 4d touring stage show, Weather Dome Warehouses — Mu/ ti sensory weather based soft play, themed dressed staff, mini shows etc. , ’ Theme park ll! * ’ ©KOGO Productions Ltd, Kathryn Otto, The Weather Dome 2013
