• Health behavior is an action that healthy people undertaken
to keep them selves or others healthy and prevent disease.

• There are main 2 types of health behavior.

1. Well Behavior :
• behavior undertaken by the people who are well, in order to maintain good
health.
2. Preventive Behavior :
• Behavior undertaken by people who are well, in order to prevent ill- health.

• Behavior undertaken by people who know they are at risk, in order to
maintain good health or prevent ill health.

• Behavior undertaken by people who are ill, in order to find a way to get
better health.

6. Sick-Role Behavior :
• Behavior undertaken by people who are ill, in order to seek a cure by
