4. 4. Jump cut
This is used in the movie to distort the audience and make the action seem more jumpy and rough, this makes it link to clip as it is a fight scene.
5. 5. Eye line match
This is used in the movie to show that the Predator and the alien are looking at each other, showing the audience that they are going to fight till the death.
6. 6. Special effects
This is used in the movie to make all of the action scenes feel more realistic and it makes all of the scene look more eye catching for the audience e.g. (the actor of alien would be in a green room and they would use special effects to get the shape and all of the features that alien has).
7. 7. Match on action
This is used in the film to save time and it builds up tension with the audience. An example of this
8. 8. Parallel editing
This is used in the movie to show different places in the clip e.g. There is a shot of the humans looking in the sky and then there is a shot of a US army jet flying by dropping an A bomb.
9. 9. Cross cutting
This is used in the movie to show the audience what is happening in three different places at the same time ( Alien and Predator are both fighting each other, mean while the US army are going to drop an A bomb and the humans are waiting for help.
