2. Movie Synopsis
Frank Abagnale, Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) worked
as a doctor, a lawyer, and as a co-pilot for a
major airline -- all before his 18th birthday. A
master of deception, he was also a brilliant
forger, whose skill gave him his first real claim
to fame: At the age of 17, Frank Abagnale, Jr.
became the most successful bank robber in the
history of the U.S. FBI Agent Carl Hanratty (Tom
Hanks) makes it his prime mission to capture
Frank and bring him to justice, but Frank is
always one step ahead of him.

• Our campaign, Crack the Chase, centers around hunting
for clues that are related to the film and Frank Abagnale’s
life of crime during the 1960’s.
• The campaign and hunt will be a mystery that leads up to
the reveal of the film and its first trailer.
• Target: Active internet users, ages 18 to 35

4. Crack the Chase
• Beginning of Campaign: YouTube ads that serve
as fake “Breaking News” broadcast searching for
the ‘mysterious imposter’
• At the end of the fake broadcast, users will be
prompted to visit CrackTheChase.com to help
with the investigation and learn more.

the RewARD
• Each time a user unlocks 5 clues, the will receive a
piece of an exclusive scene from the movie only
available to them.
• The first 5 clues unlocks 30 secs. 10 solved clues
unlocks the next 30 secs. etc.
• After the player has solved 20 clues they will have all 4
sections of the 2 min. scene and will finally be able to
find out what happens to the main character in said
scene.
• A clue is hidden within this special clip though, and
those that solve it will receive tickets to the premier.
