Pray and give their charity toward them.<br />Maintain the relationship between their parent’s friend. <br />Continuously do righteous deed to their parents.<br />إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ الآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوْاْ تَتْبِيرًا (17:7) <br />PUSAT ISLAM UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA<br />ISLAMIC CENTRE UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA<br />
  4. 4. 17:7 (Asad) [And We said:] "If you persevere in doing good, you will but be doing good to yourselves; and if you do evil, it will be [done] to yourselves." And so, when the prediction of the second [period of your iniquity] came true, [We raised new enemies against you, and allowed them] to disgrace you utterly, [9] and to enter the Temple as [their forerunners] had entered it once before, and to destroy with utter destruction all that they had conquered.<br />Do not upset of their living from this world.<br />Fulfill their commitment toward their parents.<br />PUSAT ISLAM UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA<br />ISLAMIC CENTRE UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA<br />

In the Quran, there is a very beautiful description on how parents are to be treated.<br />وَقَضَى رَبُّكَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلاَهُمَا فَلاَ تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفٍّ وَلاَ تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوْلاً كَرِيمًا (17:23) <br />Allaah Says (what means): "And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as] 'uff' [i.e., an expression of irritation or disapproval] and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. <br />وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا (17:24) <br />And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say: 'My Lord!
