A thesis proposal for subject Design 10. The proposed
Transportation hub for city of Bacoor, Cavite aims to
centralized the four (4) existing terminals to provide a more
controlled, organized and efficient system of transportation
in the municipality, promote convenience in commuting for
passengers, and to contribute to the reduction of traffic
congestion.
The Transportation Hub is divided in 2 terminals,
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Separating the trans-modal
and intermodal mode of transport in Bacoor City. The 1st
Terminal is offering trans-modal mode of transport with
fixed inbound and outbound of same vehicle transport,
this is applicable in PUBs or Public Utility Buses.
While 2nd
Terminal is offering a intermodal mode of
transport for the local vehicles that is existing in Bacoor
City. This is to support multiple connectivity or multimodal
of areas with high density, also known as gateway, in which
implies a shift from one mode to another.
