THE WHAT? • Employee advocacy enables companies and brands to amplify the marketing messages by encouraging its employees to share approved branded content on their personal social media channels. • Employee advocacy programs have seen to increase brand visibility, improved brand recognition and better brand loyalty. • The key benefits include: increased organic web traffic, inbound leads, employee engagement and so on.

People only trust friends, family and peers more than any other information source 84% of consumers’ value recommendations from friends and family above all forms of advertising – and additionally, 77% of consumers are likely to make a purchase after hearing about it from someone they trust. Hence trust is essential for business and it has also become a new marketing currency in today’s digital world. Digital-Savvy Employees are the biggest marketing assets & trusted brand advocates Engaged and digital-savvy employees are the best word-of-mouth marketing resource. It’s one of the most cost-effective way of marketing that brings enormous benefits in the long run. Employees have a wider social reach than brand channels Content shared by employees receives 8X more engagement than content shared by brand channels. Employees become the thought leaders By empowering employees with valuable content to share across their personal social media channels, it creates an online identity for the engaged employees in broader communities. This in turn will position them as an ‘Industry Thought Leader’ and also continuously encourage them to build their personal brand online.

Sharing: Liking: Share posts from the Wetpaint social platforms Like and react to the posts on our platforms Commenting: Tag & Mention: Comment your thoughts about the post Tag a friend or mention other people and other brands in the post Monthly Task: Each month a new social task will be sent out for the team to do. This needs to be done before the end of that given month. Weekly Task: This will be rolled out to the team who will all have a chance per week to do something awesome for our pages. Daily Task: To visit our platforms daily to engage with the content posted from that day.
  5. 5. NEED TRAINING? For anyone not social savvy or not on social media, there will be a short half an hour social media workshop on Wednesday the 25th of January 2017. This workshop will cover: 1.Setting up accounts 2.Learning to engage
  6. 6. THE WHEN? Weekly Roll-Out Schedule: Please note social media engagement counts towards your reviews. Constantly be active on a daily basis and do your tasks which will be placed into your calendars. Reports are done monthly to see who engages and red cards will be issued if you miss your task.
