Shouldn’t Be On Social Media!

Really? I hear you cry, Amanda Kennedy saying you shouldn’t be on social
media? Is this girl feeling ok?
Well of course there is more to this sentence than meets the eye but, yes, there
may be a reason why social media should not be at the top of your to-do list for
your marketing objectives. There are more ways to market your business.
However much I believe blogging and social media marketing are the key to a
great online presence and showing your potential customers that they need to
buy from you as you are a thought leader, , it may be that your customers are
just not online.
There are three reasons why you should be on social media:
• Your customers are on it
• Your competitors are on it
• Your industry is on it
If your business ticks any one of these boxes then you need to use it, but there
are so many other options available to you too, it is NOT all about social!
It may be that having a social media presence is needed to ensure you don’t
disappoint your potential customers if they try to look you up on Facebook and
Twitter. However there are plenty of other options available to ensure that you
have your marketing strategy completely covered. As the saying goes, don’t
put all your eggs in one basket.

So, as well as embracing social media marketing platforms, you need to ensure
