My first New Years resolution is to change my perspective on life, to try and me optimistic on most of the things I encounter day by day, and try to see the good in the difficult situations in life. The words to this video I have inserted have inspired me to do this.
When I found that video on Youtube I decided to put it in my new years resolution. This is because the words he speaks on the video is inspiring. The message he invokes makes you believe that as long as you put in the effort, and have the perseverance to keep going, you’ll reach your goal.
More reason as to why I want to make this one of my New Years Resolution is because it teaches you never to give up, that you don’t let anyone come between you and your dreams. It teaches you that even if it seems like the world is against you, that there is always hope no matter what, and you can’t just give up on what you want to do.
My second new years resolution is to continue to chase my dreams and goals, this means to assure my spot in BCIT, and to further my education as much as possible before I enter Post Secondary.
I plan to further chase my goal to go into professional sales in the Marketing Department. This will help me see if business is right for me, and how much I like the type of job I am chasing. It will also let me learn more about the world of business and marketing and will help me get one step closer to doing what I want to do.
I would do my best to get a great mark in English 12 to ensure my spot in BCIT. What I have set out to do this year is to graduate knowing that I put my all into my classes, and to try and secure my spot in BCIT as much as I can. When I attend BCIT in September, I will do my best to network as well as I can during my time there.
My third resolution is Healthy Living. For a large part of my life I have been accustomed to eating junk food, and snacking off as much as possible, since I had a really high metabolism, but as you grow up your high metabolism starts to fade, and that’s when you have to put in the effort to stay healthy.
I’ve already stuck to this work out plan for 2 months and I plan to continue. It consists of a 7 – day workout with 4 days of cardio and a 3 days of weight lifting . Eventually this will be less of a workout and more of a hobby as the months pass, which is what I want to attain.
This is very important for me to keep to this work out plan because this will be important for me to make habitual in the future so I am able to stay fit when I am older. This is my main reason I want to stay healthy, as it becomes harder and harder to get into the habit as you grow older, so conquering that hill when I’m younger will save me from future tribulations in the future.
I would like to start eating a lot more healthier than I do now to help with my work out plan, since the only way to really see results is too eat healthy as well as work out. I plan to actually eat the needed food groups that I usually neglect on(vegetables and fruits).
And lastly, I’d like to stay happy. New years resolutions mean nothing if you are not happy doing them.
And lastly, I’d like to thank everyone for listening to my presentation and this is something I found on the web, and its 50 ways to cope with stress, of course you’re not going to read all of it, but I’d like to take out my favourite one and that is “Stop thinking tomorrow will be a better today.” because it makes you want to make changes NOW as oppose to tomorrow, and I think that is very important.
