Fiona is contacting with him.  Shell(Fiona) - Not secured yet. They will contact with ideal person next week.  Prof. Tsinghua University(Judy) -Not secured speaker yet since there is miscommunication between us. They think that only PKU is accepted.

  7. 7. 5. Keynote speaker Progress of this week Japanese staffs visited the head of World Bank Tokyo office this week. It seems that they can introduce us someone in Beijing office and he/she will be a keynote speaker.

Thematic session(Agriculture)  Contents  Case Study  Green Revolution in India (past: back in 1960s)  SUCCESS: Basics of agriculture were structured (increased food production) and improved the economic status of India.  Key to the success was leading technology (e.g. HYV, irrigation, and etc.).  Arise of UNSUCCESSFUL effects: Pollution, global warming, and collisions. Speaker  Activities taken by JICA to solve the problem in China (current)  The same problem by GR has emerged in China.  Focus on the activities by JICA to find out the practical solution that is
