  • Like spiders, introverts are often misunderstood.
  • “Shy” and “introvert” are not synonymous. Sometimes introverts are shy, but not all shy people are introverts.
  • Sometimes people think we (introverts) are rude.
  • Sometimes people think we (introverts) are cranky. Let’s face it – everyone can be cranky!
  • There’s this idea that introverts don’t like people. We often like people; we just get drained by being around others.
  • There are occasions where we introverts like to get out there and dance.
  • But generally, we’re content to just chill with a small group of people.
  • There are always large events of some sort that introverts are required to attend.
  • We can even speak in front of large crowds.
  • But when it’s time to go, there ain’t nothing that’s going to hold us back from going home.
  • And we’ll be going “Squee, squee, squee” on the inside, all the way home.
  • It’s important to remember that we cannot “fix” ourselves and become extroverts, just like this frog won’t turn into a handsome prince.
