Theyhave built up a loyal customer base and provided electricalinstallations for the commercial, residential, industrial and publicsectors.In 2010, they were recommended the services of SMPR to come onboard to help promote the organisation and to provide PR andMarketing solutions.
  3. 3. The Client continuedWilliam Dyer Electrical (UK) Ltd is now recognised as one of theUK’s leading electrical energy efficiency contractors with a proventrack record for excellent service. They are also NICEIC and MCSaccredited electrical contractors and installers of solar panelsystems.
  4. 4. The ChallengeThe initial aim for William Dyer Electrical (UK) Ltd was to raise the profileof the organisation and to gain exposure in local, regional and nationaltrade titles. Upon consultation with SMPR, the aims were further adaptedto include re-positioning of the company from electrical contractors toelectrical energy efficiency contractors, an update of their corporatebrand and to increase their overall presence both online and off.Historically, William Dyer Electrical had provided energy efficientelectrical installations for large clients and had some staggering examplesof where their low energy electrical installations had provided significantenergy savings but the company had no PR channels in place todemonstrate their capabilities.

The Challenge continuedSMPR designed and built a new website and blog for William DyerElectrical to showcase their project portfolio and their range ofservices.The website contains work in progress, completed works casestudies, news items, articles and a complete portfolio of theirservices. On a monthly basis, SMPR create, optimise and publishpress releases, case studies and articles for William Dyer Electrical.In addition to this, SMPR created a Quick Response (QR) code forWilliam Dyer Electrical which was used during the re-brand whenthey invested in a brand new fleet of 14 vehicles.
