Slim your face with makeup

  1. 1. Slim Your Face with MakeupEverything about your face is unique. So why apply your makeup the same way aseveryone else? If you want your face to appear slimmer, here are some makeup techniquesto enhance the real you.Start with a clean and fresh face. Apply foundation primer, foundation and loose settingpowder to your face. Now, choose your contour shadow color that is 2 or 3 shades darkerthan your foundation. Your contour makeup should be matte, not shimmery. Slim cheeks - sweep the shadow lightly under cheek bones using an angled contour powder brush. Minimize a double chin - apply shadow under your chin and around your jaw line. Narrow your nose - lightly sweep the shadow on both sides of your nose. You can use shadow wherever you would like to look smaller onyour face. Just make sure that you blend the contour powderwith your foundation so that you don’t have brown spots on yourface. Using a lighted makeup mirror is a big help for properblending. To achieve a look that is real, use a highlighting powder for balance. Choose one shadelighter than your skin color. Using a soft powder brush, dust highlighter over the apples ofyour cheeks and up the top side of your cheek bones to your temples. Sweep the highlighterunder your brow bone and very lightly just above your brows. If you used shadow on thesides of your nose, sweep the highlighter right down the center of your nose in a thinstraight line.Dont forget to apply a light blush to the apples of your cheeks for a beautiful glow. If youare having trouble trying to determine where to apply your blush, bend over forward andhang your head upside down. Then flip your head back up. You should be able to see wherethe natural rosy color appears on your face. Apply blush to those areas of your cheeks.Contact me, and I’ll help you choose the right shades for your coloring.
