  7. 7. Pupil Library Use <ul><li>16% of those asked claimed to use the library weekly or daily. </li></ul><ul><li>About 70% of these pupils were in S1or S2. </li></ul><ul><li>70 to 90 pupils at break and lunch is standard. </li></ul><ul><li>Issues of books increased annually. </li></ul>

What can you do for the library? <ul><li>If I’m teaching a lesson - join in and support – especially the assignment part of the lesson. </li></ul><ul><li>Be the library liaison for your department </li></ul><ul><li>Join in with promotions </li></ul><ul><li>Encourage pupils to read </li></ul><ul><li>Get caught reading </li></ul><ul><li>Donate old magazines, </li></ul><ul><li>books… </li></ul>
