  • Karen Douglas has been employed at the Athens-Clarke County Library for over five years, and serves as the Technical Trainer and Assistant. As a lifelong resident of Georgia, she has lived in Athens for almost twenty years.She is presently responsible for developing, designing, and delivering varied technical training programs to library staff and the patrons of the Athens-Clarke County Library. Karen views assisting others in the improvement of basic computer skills as a highly rewarding part of her career. She continues to seek out new and innovative ways to aid patrons and library staff in expanding their understanding of software programs in an effort to enrich both individuals and the community at large.
