RESEARCH DESIGN• The present study was conducted on experimental basis where the students of class IX served as the samples.• Single group research design was adopted for the present investigation, where the selected group was tested on the dependent variable at periodic interval both before and after treatment.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR TEST• The selected students were tested for their positive thinking using the tool of Remez Sasson for the present investigation.• Following the pre test was the intervention given to improve their positive thinking ability thus contributing towards creating good self image.

POST TEST BEHAVIOUR• The students were administered the tool used for assessing their positive attitude and self image that was used in during their pre test.

• Boys were found to be better in their score of positive thinking than girls as they accept, believe in themselves, they are not for absolutes and get rid of unnecessary fears, and try new thing at their failure and does not set back or refrain from job. Insignificant difference in their post test score disclose the outcome of intervention programme administered to the students.

• It is evident from the mean score that boys are better in their as revealed in the earlier table that they possess better positive thinking. Though positive thinking is one factor that contributes towards self image it contributes extensively towards constructing positive self image. The result analyzed after interference programme make known the difference to be insignificant among the students of class IX.
