The Challenge< >
The Military HIV Research Program (MHRP) required a more efficient and intuitive content management
system to improve client outreach while also enhancing user experience through easier navigation and
access to information for a wide array of users. The CMS implemented would also need to serve as a hub
of information that would be easily managed by MHRP staff.

The Solution< >
The Military HIV Research Program and Blue Water collaborated on a new site architecture plan that
provided cohesiveness and improved user experience among users and stakeholders. Our design experts
produced multiple screen shots and wire frames until MHRP was completely satisfied with the end
result. Upon completing the requirements for design, Blue Water began development of the new site.
In tandem with these efforts, Blue Water provided additional services to MHRP, including:

• Installing and maintaining a Content Management System (CSM)
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Website maintenance

The Results< >
The new website incorporates major enhancements that go a long way in displaying the research efforts
of the organization. Building the site with an emphasis on user experience allows users the ability
to navigate the website with ease and an increased interactivity not before on offer. With a focus on
responsive, the site allows users to access the MHRP site from any mobile or table devices.
The website will also increase brand consistency within the MHRP audience with consistent messaging
and imagery across the entire site.
This site is currently awaiting deployment (pending deployment May 2015) and is currently being utilized
as a source of critical information in the global fight of infection and disease.
