  20. 20. New Technology Platform: NOMAD® HCS BIOSENSORS Currently there is no commercial platform available that has these characteristics! The technology measures directly the effect of potential drugs by determining the concentrations of the intracellular second messengers liberated after the target activation in living cells (cAMP, Ca++, DAG) by fluorescent Nomad® biosensor redistribution. The approach does not involve the genetic modification of any of the component of the receptor pathway in the cell. Robust and reproducible and could be combined with internalization studies.
