How to support your team Introduction With a Campaign Page on JustGiving you can create an online community for an event or appeal. It means you have one simple link to share with people to encourage them to fundraise for your charity or donate to your team of runners. And it allows you to build a real sense of community. Our numbers show that people raise on average £200 more if they start their marathon fundraising well before Christmas. So here’s how to create a Campaign Page in under five minutes to make sure you raise more money for this year’s event. Read on to learn more.

  3. 3. • Log into your charity account • Click on the ‘Campaigns’ tab and then ‘Create a campaign’. • Fill in the details of the campaign and hit ‘Save and preview’ to save a draft. • Visit your Campaign Page and click ‘Publish campaign’ to make it go live. 2. How to create your campaign
  4. 4. 3. How to personalise your campaign • Log into your charity account • Go to the ‘Campaigns’ tab • Click on ‘View existing Campaigns’. Here you’ll find campaigns that have been previously drafted or currently live. • To edit the page click ‘Actions’, then select 'Edit campaign‘. • Personalise your page and click ‘Save’ • To promote your campaign on your charity profile on JustGiving, click ‘Feature on charity profile’

Make it easy for people to fundraise online by adding a link to your campaign at all the key touch points. We’ve created some buttons you can use to make the link really stand out.   6. 6. 4. How to promote your campaign Email Once you know someone wants to run for your charity, send them an email encouraging them to make a Fundraising Page and join your London marathon team. Website People that get a place through the ballot like to fundraise too. Make it easy for them to join your London marathon team by adding the ‘Join our team’ button to your website with a link to your Campaign Page. Social Now the ballot has been announced share links to your Campaign Page on your social channels to encourage people with ballot places to join your team. Once you’ve got a few people fundraising, share the campaign on your social channels to celebrate how much your team has raised. It will make them feel great to be publicly acknowledged. And your other supporters may be inspired to make a donation to the team too!
