  11. 11. COCAINE<br />In the early 1980’s cocaine was brought into the U.S. People turned the powder into the name crack. Its was also easy for drug dealers to make smokeable cocaine in 1981. <br />

  22. 22. CHALLENGER DISASTER<br />The ChallengerDisaster occurred on Tuesday, January 28, 1986. The challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, leading the deaths of its seven crew members.<br />

  24. 24. SUPERMODEL GIA<br />Gia was an American fashion model during the late 1970s and early 1980s. After she became addicted to heroin. She later became infected with HIV and died at the age of 26.<br />
  25. 25. “BABY JESSICA”<br />Jessica became famous at the age of 18 months after falling into a well in Midland, Texas, on October 14, 1987. Between that day and October 16, rescuers worked for 58 hours to free "Baby Jessica" from the eight-inch-wide hole.<br />
