Brisbane Arts Theatre is an iconic 81-year old independent theatre in Brisbane that produces high quality productions, educates emerging artists, and engages the community. It is seeking philanthropic support to diversify its revenue streams and future proof the theatre. The theatre currently relies almost entirely on ticket sales for revenue and support will allow it to develop its education programs, bar/catering facilities, and renovate backstage areas to attract more patrons and partnerships. Support of $600,000 is sought for capital projects and $50,000 to sponsor the children's theatre season which features 99 shows annually.

Philanthropy is giving for the purpose of
solving, not momentarily saving.
Brisbane Arts Theatre needs
philanthropic support to enable us to
develop and diversify.
Every meaningful contribution has an
equal return of either increased
income or increased freedom to create
more worthwhile theatre.
The purpose of philanthropic donations
is to strengthen and improve the
theatre's existing infrastructure in
order to grow existing income and
enable us to appeal as a venue to
socially progressive corporate donors
and high net worth individuals.

19. IT'STIME
I deeply believe that hard work
eventually pays off. In the theatre,
it pays off each time we take a bow.
It pays off when a young actor take a leap of
faith and when that song comes
together just in time.
It has paid off handsomely
in achievement, fulfilment and experiences at
Brisbane Arts Theatre for over 80 years.
Now it's time to spread our wings; to welcome
more audiences and to connect in new ways to
our community.
We're stronger than ever before, but we need
your support to take us to the next level.
It's time for us to be brave.
If there's one thing you can be sure of,
it is that Brisbane Arts Theatre will work hard
with your support and
turn it into something magnificent.
