"Muses Code JS or How Communities Change People" Tanya Butenko

Published on

When I decided to change my career one of the important factors was JavaScript community - a welcoming place with people who had similar interests. For me, it was surprising that everyone was so eager to share knowledge for free, unlike many other professions. Then I decided to be involved. After 2 years I started Muses Code JS and it changed my life and lives of other people. Now I want to share lessons I've learned, how leading countrywide community changed my perception of some things and how we managed to change the lives of some women and the opinion of some men.
