  13. 13. Use Target Language For Learning 1
  14. 14. Students & teacher speak, listen, read, write & create in the target language 90% or more during classroom time.
  15. 15. Plan with Backwards Design 2
  16. 16. Identify desired results, determine acceptable evidence THEN plan learning experiences and instruction.
  17. 17. Design Communicative Activities 3
  18. 18. Teachers design and carry out interpersonal communication tasks for pairs, small groups, and whole class instruction.

  20. 20. Present interactive reading and listening comprehension tasks using authentic cultural texts with appropriate scaffolding while promoting interpretation.
