The three domains of life are Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya. Bacteria and Archaea are prokaryotes, meaning their cells lack nuclei and other membrane-bound organelles. Eukarya includes all organisms with cells that contain membrane-bound organelles and a nucleus, including plants, animals, fungi, and protists.
